ICE cotton contracts jumps nearly 4%

ICE cotton futures contracts closed up by nearly 4% on Thursday due to strong export data released yesterday. 

Cotton contracts for March closed at 82.65 cents per lb, up by 3.75%, hitting record high since May 2014 and May contract closed at 82.96 cents per lb, up by 3.76%. 

Cotlook A Index increased to 90.35cent/lb, down by 1.3cents.
