ICE cotton contracts rise on speculative buying

ICE cotton futures contracts closed up on Wednsday due to speculative buying and returned to three-year high reached last week. The major contracts moved within the range of 78.33-79.93cent/lb. 

Cotton contracts for March closed at 79.66 cents per lb, up by 1.67% and May contract closed at 79.95 cents per lb, up by 1.61%. 

Cotlook A Index increased to 89.05cent/lb, down by 0.25cents.
